Bradshaw Primary School embraced the spirit of World Book Day with creativity and enthusiasm as children and staff dressed up as their favourite literary characters. The day was filled with engaging activities aimed at nurturing a love for reading among students.

World Book Day, an annual event celebrated globally, aims to promote the joy of reading, especially among children. It encourages them to explore the magical worlds found within the pages of books, fostering imagination and empathy.

A highlight of the day was the visit of a group of our reading ambassadors to Grappenhall Manor. The children shared their favourite books with residents, spreading joy and inspiration. A resident of Grappenhall Manor, praised the children's storytelling skills, expressing delight at their visit. The children were exemplary and everyone had a great time!
