Bradshaw Primary School was buzzing with excitement today as we officially celebrated becoming part of Omega Multi Academy Trust (Omega MAT).

To mark this special occasion, every child received a new water bottle, an adorable sweet treat featuring our mascot Bumble and we had lots of lovely fruit available throughout the day.

One of the highlights of the day was the visit from “Wolfie”, the beloved mascot of Warrington Wolves. Wolfie brought the fun to break time and lunchtime, engaging the children in exciting activities that had them dancing, competing, laughing and cheering. Wolfie found himself "corned" in the playground by enthusiastic children who couldn't get enough of the furry visitor!

We held a special assembly where we met other children from our new partner schools in the Trust (Burtonwood Primary School, Chapelford Village Primary School, Park Road Primary School and Westbrook Old Hall Primary School). They shared fascinating insights into their own schools, revealing the unique characteristics that makes each one special. From swimming pools on fields to chickens in the playground, the children discovered just how diverse primary schools can be. We are now looking forward to visiting their schools and sharing all the wonderful things about Bradshaw Primary, with them!

The day culminated in a presentation by Christian Wilcocks, CEO and Mr G Brown, Chair of Trustees of Omega MAT, who both welcomed colleagues and outlined plans for Bradshaw Primary within the trust and the opportunities that lay ahead.

With the support of Omega MAT, we are ready to embrace new opportunities and continue providing an outstanding education for all our children.
